NMOS has primarily been used for routing uncompressed ST 2110 based flows, but it can do far nore than that.
BCP-006-01 has already been published to define the IS-04 and 15-05 parameters that need to be specitied for JPEG XS flows over RTP (as defined in ST 2110-22)
BCP-006-02 will define the parameters that need to be specified for H.264 / AVC flows
BCP-006-03 will define the parameters that need to be specified for H.265 / HEVC flows
… and transports.
BCP-007-01 will describe how NMOS can work with NDI devices.
A future BCP-007 specification will describe how to carry data over MPEG-TS.
